Sara and Jonathan, from London, celebrated their destination wedding in Italy at Antica Fattoria di Paterno (Montespertoli, Tuscany), a Tuscan paradise on the Chianti hills.

We felt so special when they chose us as their wedding videographers!

Their ceremony was held up according to Persian traditions, originally of the ancient Zoroastrian culture. It was characterized by sofreh aghd,a luxurious and elaborate wedding spread which includes several kinds of food and decorations: decorated eggs symbolizing fertility, candelabras, a mirror, fruits, a sacred text, honey, bread, “the seven herbs”, pastries. Unmarried female relatives held up a silk shawl over the bride and groom’s heads; after they were pronounced married, bride and groom each dipped one finger in a cup full of honey (symbolizing sweetness and love) and fed it to one another.
